The property was great. The management company is a different story. They were great to deal with right up until they called us 8 days before arrival telling us that the condo we had reserved had been sold. They left us scrambling for another condo, and we had to shift the person staying with us to another family members condo. It's really hard to believe that there's no provision for the new owners to honor the rentals for at least the first couple of weeks or so. This 1 bedroom condo was the only one left in the entire complex! This entire family reunion/birthday celebration could have been ruined if we hadn't found this one available condo. We think this policy needs to be changed so it doesn't happen to others who plan their family vacations.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Compared to the other unites we've stayed in at whispering pines this unit was our least favorite. It wasn't as well decorated or as comfortable as some of the others we have stayed in. Could use a new toaster, didn't use the one there because it wasn't clean. Probably wouldn't choose this one again.
